The team created some new Aubot prototypes for some different kinds of robots.  I took them to CES to show them off.  Here I am with the robot prototypes in front of the CES sign.

KOOKIE, Fantastic Failures, Young Heroes, Entrepreneurs and Total Girl

Published: Monday, 28 January 2019

I featured in some magazine articles, books and on the tv recently. Here are some of them!

This was KOOKIE magazine, where I was interviewed by 10-year-olds Ella and Hiromi, which was released in December 2018.

I was featured in the book “Fantastic Failures”, which was released in the second half of 2018.  The Washington Post wrote about the book here.

I was also named as one of "100 extraordinary children from across the world" in the book, "Young Heroes", which was launched on 4 October 2018.

I did an interview in the Bloomberg Studios in San Francisco for the tv series, “Entrepreneurs”, that aired on the Nine Network on Thursday 11 October 2018!

Austrade San Francisco Landing Pad

Published: Tuesday, 18 December 2018

In late 2018, Aubot participated in the Australian Trade and Investment Commission’s (Austrade’s), Landing Pad program, which helps successful Australian companies expand to the USA.

We worked out of San Francisco for several months. It was great to learn about the SF eco-system and meet other launched Australian companies in the USA. Austrade also ran workshops on legal, HR, marketing, and the cultural differences between the USA and Australia.

I love living in San Francisco. The people here are so curious and creative. And people here think big! I am constantly in awe of what people here have accomplished. I’ve made so many new friends and I’m excited about thinking bigger and doing even more!

Ten companies are selected each batch - here I am with some of the other founders in the batch, on the first day of the program when they were showing us around the space!

Duke and Duchess of Sussex

Published: Wednesday, 14 November 2018

The Aubot team was invited to meet the Duke and Duchess of Sussex - that’s right, HRH Prince Harry and Meghan Markle! We showed them our robots. I wasn’t in Melbourne, so I teleported in to meet them via Teleport!!!

They spoke to me and the team for about 4 minutes! It was pretty surreal to be peering through my Teleport and looking directly at Prince Harry as he listened to the Governor of Victoria’s husband speak! Throughout I kept thinking, wow! They’re so close to me! I was so excited I had this cheesy grin on my face the entire time. Prince Harry kept looking over at me, inquisitively. It was really exciting for the team to meet royalty.

Unfortunately, we were’t allowed to take any photographs, or share official photographs. So here is a photo of our robots looking excited beforehand.
